Diary of a Fired DJ - A Real Radio Unemployment Story

Day #15 - 10/30/97 - 5:34PM

I don't think there's any need for concern. Sure, some might think that I'm getting a little goofy...but, sometimes you just have to express yourself. That's why when I cooked tonight's dinner, I added a little personality to it. I call him: "Morgan the Meatloaf". Have a look:

Morgan the Meatloaf

I know what you're thinking: "Corey, don't play with your food." But, this is not a game! This is dinner, damnit! This is MY dinner that I made with my own two hands! Compared to my last job, I have real control over this - and I'm going to do it MY way. Go ahead Morgan, say something....

..."Well, don't mind if I do! I'm very proud to be Corey's meatloaf tonight. Sure, I'm important now, but someday when he's employed again he'll probably just cast me off for 'Sammy Steak'. I feel so used."

Thanks Morgan. That's it for today. This can't be a good sign: I just had a conversation with some ground chuck.
