I still haven't officially commited to the offer I have on the table. But, I did get a nice note from a Cleveland friend and former co-worker which made me feel a little better.

"Glad to hear you've found something...sorry it doesn't include Jay. You guys deserve to stick together but sometimes that just doesn't happen. I know. Exact same thing [happened with me and] XXXXX two and a half years ago. Sometimes you just have to move on despite the obvious pain."

Oh, and my friend also gave me an update on the station that fired me. Apparently, it didn't help: they're down another half-a-point in the latest trends. So let's see: you blow out the morning show and lose even MORE listeners. Mmmmmm......tick - tick - tick -tick
