So far, my unemployment hasn't been too much of a financial strain because I've been getting severance. Isn't that a nice word? SEVERANCE. Gee, how about

...GETLOSTANCE

...HATEYOURGUTSANCE

...WEMADEARASHDECISIONANDNOWWEHAVETOPAYANCE.

Okay, maybe severance is a better word for it.

But, the severance stops in a couple of weeks. We have some money saved up but the anxiety is about to get upped a notch. This will be the hardest part, the next month or so. Hopefully, we'll start getting some more interest in a few weeks when the Fall book comes back. What a business, huh? My survival depends on another guy's demise. It's the Law of the Jungle.
