Haroldsen made over a million dollars by purchasing real estate, beginning with "dirt bag" properties, fixing them up, and making huge profits selling them.  Mark then founded and successfully ran a real estate investing seminar company from 1978 to 1990 setting the standard for real estate investing seminars, conventions and retreats-his company presenting up to 50 seminars a week across the United States.

Not only is Mark an extremely successful real estate investor, he is also the author of four books - one of which, How To Wake Up The Financial Genius Inside You, has sold over two million copies.  He also published the Financial Freedom Report, a real estate investing
