Take a peak into the future of phone service in America

TV service beamed to your cell phone!  Over 1,000 channels!  Movies on demand at any time!
And all this by telephone, NOT cable!

The Wall Street Journal ran a story about how the new AT&T plans to invest heavy in the Internet to deliver its TV, web and wireless products to consumers.  Only 23 percent of AT&Ts revenues will come from traditional phone lines.  This is a huge change-over in the marketplace.

This move by AT&T is sure to provoke a full-fledged “Internet War” between AT&T, Verizon and others striving to keep up with each other to offer the best and most advanced technology to consumers via their phone and cell phone.

To discuss this huge marketplace change-over and what it means for consumers/your listeners, please consider as a guest Pete Sepp with the National Taxpayers Union.  Sepp can also explain what state and national obstacles stand in the way of AT&T’s big plans.
