Great Showprep Tools Reviewed:
"Firefox Converter"

Here's the problem: you browse the Internet for news stories and information for your show.  But, some of the information is written using the metric system - or vice versa - and if you leave it that way, your listeners don't know what you're really talking about.

Along comes "Converter" by Bogdan Stancescu, a free add-on for Firefox. This handy utility will convert either the selected measurement (via right click) or the entire page.

According to the download page, Converter's supported units include "...meters, feet, degrees Celsius, Fahrenheit, inches, centimeters, kilometers, miles, km/h, mph, square meters, square feet, kg, lb, fl oz, milliliters, and more."

This has saved me invaluable time.

I used to use a stand alone converter application which I stored on my Windows desktop. But, now, I just click and the text is immediatley converted.

I highly recommend Converter add-on for Firefox. Download your free copy here:
