"Pure Text"


Here's the problem: you browse the Internet for news stories and information for your show.  When you spot what you want, instead of printing the whole page - you want to save ink and paper by copying just the text.

Unfortunately, sometimes when you copy text you also get a crapload of "formatting" from the page which adds all kinds of junk when you paste it into your word processor.

Enter "Pure Text". With this little utility, all you have to do is copy the text you want, click the Pure Text tray icon and the formatting magically disappears.  All that's left will be the text of the article you copied.  Then, go ahead and paste it.

Pure Text removes rich formatting from text. As the developer points out: "It will not remove or fix new-lines, carriage returns, tabs, or other white-space."
